This is a demonstration of making a felt flower accessory for your head bands, waist band and even for your clothes. You will require wool fibers, bubble wrap, felt sponge rolling pin, washing bags and a container of hot water and a spray for soap water. First loose fibers are taken of the color you prefer for your flower and laid in one direction to the size and shape of the flower. Then a second layer is laid at right angle to the previous layer. Some strand of fiber is twisted and laid on the double layer to give a natural finish. Now the layers are sprayed with soap water so as to wet it mildly. The fibers were laid on the bubble wrap with the bubbles on top, now layers are covered by folding the bubble wrap on top and pressed by hand to squeeze out the water. The wrap is opened, the edges of loose fibers are folded at the edge to give a shape to the flower, sprayed with soap water. The wrap is again folded on top and pressed with the rolling pin. Once the fibers are firm, the flower is put in the drying bag and put in the washer with other clothes so that it does face the harsh rolling in the washer. Once dried the wrinkles are removed and with help of sewing machine straight radiating stitches are given to the flower to give a natural look. A button is sewed at the center to form the corrola and give point for fixing as an accessory.
